Smore anyone? A wide range of camping opportunities are available along the Blueway Trail including primitive and canoe camping in the Adirondack Forest Preserve, State park campgrounds that can accommodate tent and RV campers and traditional Adirondack camps and lodges. Please remember not to share your Smores with the local wildlife. Established New York State Campgrounds can be found in Forked Lake and Lake Eaton near Long Lake, Higley Flow State Park, in South Colton and Robert Moses State Park in Massena. The Town of Tupper Lake operates Little Wolf Campground. All of these are popular campsites that offer a wide range of outdoor recreation activities. In addition, the state permits primitive camping throughout the Adirondack Forest Preserve and state forests along the Raquette River.
